The photo-optical device is used to prevent collisions between cranes and their assemblies. Reaction (detection) distance up to 18 m.
The package includes:
- 2 photo-optical sensors
- 2 reflective elements (reflector)
- 2 sets of mounting brackets (components of 1 set: vertical bracket, horizontal bracket, pocket for welding to the crane structure).
Principle of operation: When the cranes approach a critical distance, the reflector, which is installed on the neighboring crane, enters the field of view of the photo-optical sensor giving the command to stop the crane, at a critical distance, the engines turn off, the crane smoothly stops.
